A Serious Problem!!! - Lance - 04-04-2009 Why the hell is my pizza cold and my soda is warm? If my pizza can go from warm to cold, and my soda can go from cold to warm, why can't my pizza go from warm to warm and my soda from cold to cold!!!!!!!!!! WHY!!!!!!!!! I can't even get them both at room temp!!! RE: A Serious Problem!!! - Galt - 04-04-2009 They both require special conditions in which neither can be satisfied at the same time. In short, you can't have the absence of heat and the absence of cold at the same time. The world likes to screw people over by working that way. ![]() RE: A Serious Problem!!! - Lance - 04-04-2009 Forget that! Then give me a pizza abscent of cold and a soda abscent of heat. @_@ RE:??A Serious Problem!!! - Sepharius - 04-04-2009 Lance Wrote:Forget that! According to nature, that is... IMPOSSIBLE. *dunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn* RE: A Serious Problem!!! - Motenai_Ronin - 04-04-2009 if your pizza is cold and your soda warm that means you put them too close to each other and heat transferred from the pizza to the soda via conduction next time do not lay your soda on top of your pizza RE: ??A Serious Problem!!! - Général_Argos - 04-05-2009 Sepharius Wrote:Lance Wrote:Forget that! wrong you can get absence of heat (but the inverse is not true if you define cold as opposite of heat) RE:????A Serious Problem!!! - Sepharius - 04-05-2009 G?n?ral_Argos Wrote:So technically, its just varying levels of heat. Right? And thus, absence of heat means that there is no heat (which is defined as cold)?Sepharius Wrote:Lance Wrote:Forget that! RE: A Serious Problem!!! - Général_Argos - 04-05-2009 yea exactly You can get total absence of heat, absolute cold, however, total absence of cold would mean infinite amount of heat, and is impossible; you cannot get a quantity that is infinite (unless going into some weird big bang theory) RE: A Serious Problem!!! - Sepharius - 04-05-2009 Hmm, yes, I see. Just goes to show you can learn things outside the classroom. ;D RE: A Serious Problem!!! - Général_Argos - 04-05-2009 the world is a classroom for the one that take the time to see imo *-* |
