Suggestions for Thief Card Set Gear please? - SSJCyberSonic - 05-05-2009
So I FINALLY managed to scrape al 5 cards together that make up the elusive "Thief Class Set Cards for Assassins".
These cards are as follow:
Dancing Dragon Card - Accessory
Shinobi Card - Accessory
The Paper Card - Weapon
Wanderer Card - Garment
Wild Rose Card - Footgear
Now that I finally have them all, the next challenge presents itself:
What gears to fit these into.
This is what I've come up with so far:
+5 Jamadhar[1] for The Paper.
2 Ring[1]'s for Dancing Dragon and Shinobi.
I haven't put any cards into the above though. I've only acquired the above gears so far.
I thought about the Black Leather Boots and Crest of the Rider combo for Wild Rose and Wanderer, but seeing as a Crest of the Rider[1] is near impossible to get, I let that dream go.
I would like to hear any suggestions that you guys could make so that I don't stupidly end up wasting these precious cards that I spent so much sweat, tears, blood, coffee and zeny on to get.
P.S.
I'm a lv 97 STR/AGI Katar Assassin at the moment (Sure that info is important for gear related threads).
I'll post my stats too if that is neccesary.

A +8 double critical Paper jur would suit your needs best. With a regular Jamadhar [1] you won't reach enough crit to make the paper card worthwile.
If you're looking to wear the set as a sinX only, you can look into a wool/tidal combo. The combo is hot with it's +10% hp...
Else, Manteau and Boots are fine, too, i think.

I'm hunting both Thief card sets. I'm just missing The Paper. This set is a transfer set between my Rogue and my future Sin. I know teh Thief/rogue set looks better but when compared together, This set fits me and my character better.
If you are using for Sinx only I agree with the Tidals/Wool. I'm going to be doing the same. Suxs that I need two Paper cards though ^_^;;;

Yeah. I'm gonna use it only as a pvm SinX.
