Did you log on previously to heRO before? If so, you should start a support ticket to the GMs stating what char did you log on last, what headgear/wings you were wearing, and on which map did you log off.
If not, then first thing to check is for firewall and that type of security in your setting. You can also check if port 6900, 601 and 6902 are blocked or not. If they are blocked, open them. Try that first and see if anything changed.
And be careful if you really turn off *all* firewall compare to just *one* firewall... window firewall is something to destroy always, and then afterward check your modem/router settings if there's anything there. Then, make sure your antivirus and "that type of program" doesn't come with anything either.
Use http://portforward.com/ and find your router that you use, and follow instructions there for those 3 ports.
If none of the general solution works, then you'll have to work with the GM on a case by case basis, sending in a support ticket about it with info I mentioned last time about what's necessary in the ticket. Also, maybe include where are you playing from back then, and where are you playing from now (as in, are you trying to log on in the same place as you were last time you logged on? or are you away on holiday at a hotel or something, cause that may be another variable in the problem)
