I 'unno, I never seen it in action..
I just just playing with the Alt+(whatever) and the quest menu came up and I was like, "Oh this would be so nifty."

As far as I know, there IS a quest log, but whatever quests I do with it are displayed as "Null" or some random number. Alt + U gets the window up. The only quests so far I've seen work with it (with the Null and #'s) are the ones related to new world, like the "attitude to the New World" or the "On to the New World" quests

They should implement custom quests and use this function. I like et~.

custom quests and job changes do not show up at all, most of the time it's void though. the nameless line doesn't show up, i don't think.

i think it's just inputting a few lines of code per quest script for it to be enabled in the quest log (full and functioning), or something along those lines, but i'm not sure; it seems it doesn't want to work well with most quests since they usually don't want to show up in full.

i want the quest log too though QQ

actually the job change quest does appear, but it just won't go away. I'm already 83 as an alchemist, but the job change is still there.

Not exactly, the description of each stage in the quests that are in the quest log have to be in the client, so we have to do a client modification for each quest we add to the quest log and then push it out with the update function.

As for the official quests, thats basically up to eathena to update their quests to have it working. At our last svn update they had added some fully (new world and moscovia quest), and partially added some (job change quests I think). Hopefully they'll have them all done before next time we do a svn update.
