The population has been dwindling to 300+ as I checked today after shortly we reached 500+ population. Is it that school has started or people are starting to leave?

Yeah, what's with that? Do the merchants never leave the spot once they're there? And if you can reserve a spot like that, wouldn't it actually be a better idea to reserve a spot, and then sell said spot?
