RE: Homunculus woes
That's the fun of having a disposable tank. Your homun dies and while the monster's cooling down, you have the chance to get that extra hit in that'd wipe them off the face of the earth until they respawn. And you can ressurect them so long as you have the SP for it.

RE: Homunculus woes
TPC interesting but not really useful.

Amistr < Comparison with Average
HP -1848
SP -37
Str +6 Very Good
Agi +3 Good
Vit +5 Very Good
Int -6 Terrible
Dex 0 Average
Luk 0 ~ +2 Average / Good

Vanilmirth<
HP -367
SP +10
Str +3 Good
Agi +12 Excellent
Vit -3 Below Average
Int +2 Average
Dex +1 Average
Luk -7 ~ -5 Below Average

I knew Ryuk(vanilmirth) flee was ok.
Yet I still lack to see the need to use this to say *I must like delete you NOW* silly failed homonculus. (thinks of one of the first pokemon TV episodes with Ash finding a charmander)

The thing about Power up is its (always?) possible to cancel it with high enough Aspd. With a homunculus and player attacking together that should just about do it. Plus Vanilmirth almost always get 80+ vit. 250 flee and 80++ vit. You do the math.

I've taken my sinX down there and been smacked around a good bit. Then again, i'm not too familiar about the survivability of a maxed out homunculus.

Not 100% - but when it only takes 2-4 AD to kill them...who cares?

For the most part, see above.

------------------

Find a good, clear, spawn point (which I rarely did) and you have just a HP, Sinx, WS spawning in a corner where you use a vanil to tank them until they die then rest, summon repeat. EASY experience until you run out of AD.
