About the Skill/Stat Reseter

Don't jump on me or anything if it's been suggested before, but could I suggest changing the price of the Skill/Stat Reseter?

I transferred all my stats into INT before I was level 40 so someone could help me level in Glast Heim. I didn't know how much it would be for me to reset my stats after level 40, which kind of sucks because nothing really told me how expensive it would be. Now the only things I can kill are porings, drops, lunatics, and eggs in Prontera fields and sell their loot. At the moment for me as a level 45 Acolyte, it costs 50,000 zenny to change my stats. I currently have 11,000 zenny. It's going to take me a long time to get that much with the limited things I can sell (and no, I don't beg, so don't worry).

Now, I saw a post where GM-Pa... (... I've pretty much given up on names) posted that she didn't want anyone to abuse the Skill/Stat Reseter. But I want to suggest to make cost proportionate to level, if it hasn't been done already. Maybe something like, every level gained from level 40 onward, multiply the level by 2500z?

[By the way, these costs are for reseting Stat or Skills only, not both at the same time.]
Like...

At level 40, the cost is 2500z.
At level 41, the cost is 5000z.
At level 42, the cost is 7500z.
At level 50, the cost is 25,000z.
At level 60, the cost is [Whatever is 20 x 2500 is].
And so on up to 99.

So the max, you'd pay for Skills or Stats is 99 x 2500.

Math is pretty simple, just find the cost by:
[(Character's Current Level) - (Level 40)] x 2500z.


As for the option of reseting both Stats and Skills, just multiply the cost by 1.5 (3750z instead of 2500z).

Apparantly, I'm the only one who doesn't like that much of a high cost on the Skill/Stat Reseter. Then again, I'm still used to it being only 1000z. D;

Int acolyte is by far the fastest class to level to job 50, all you have to do is pneuma, heal antique firelocks, teleport back to town when youre outta sp, use the healer, rinse and repeat. Moneywise, large jellopies and irons will give you a nice profit.

Just ask someone to escort you through the kaphas for the Amatsu dungeon quest.

And then post-50???I don't know how this server works when it comes to partying, but I've always hated low to mid-low level partying because of people keep telling me to do my job.??It's a personal issue thing.

I'd rather not go as a healbombing Acolyte anyway for the following:

I lag at times, even on this server.??Me not running away from mob = less chance of lag screwing me up.

Plus, I'm more used to Battle Acolyte.??I only changed stats for the time of going to Glast Heim.??And chances are, I'm going Combo Monk.

Well the resetter is pretty much already like you suggested, it's just more expensive.

It's 10k per level after 40 for skill OR stat reset.
It's 15k (x1.5) per level after 40 for both.

After level 50 an item is also required (amulet until level 70 if my memory does not betray me).

I know it is hard on lower level people to gather that kind of money, which is why you have 40 levels to think about your build while it's free

Right now , the reseter is 10k per lvl so at 99 no reseting stats or skill , coste about 600k or 900k for both.which is good since we can reset from time to time , but not abuse of it since its still 600k. if you put it at 2.5k per lvl ...then it will only cost like 125k to reset... thats way too cheap,i know its hard at low lvl, but you should have read what the stat reseter says, he says that post 40 it cost you 10k per lvl. its a way for new people to lvl at a normal pace and not get to 99 in less than 3-4 days! by reseting every days.


reseter beginner advice from me,
-when you start on a new server , always start a money maker character and your main character(if your main isnt a money maker of course)

example of money maker, (archer, thief)
-place to get easym money at firsts lvls,2 north of geffen, theres a small island floating in the air which have 5 blue plant respawning every 3 min.
5 blue herb per 3 min ,50 for 30 min ,25 blue pots,60 k!(change em for blue pots in alberta 2 herb 1 empty bottle for 1 blue herb.)

taekwon is a nice money maker, you can pretty much do nice damage fairly early without having to spend much on equips, taekwons can't equip much anyway, and with enough agi it's often not needed.
