RE: BG
well, the bow only significantly outperforms ak bows at +9, same for glorious rapier (+9) or avenger (+10).

Assuming you ONLY use enricheds till +9, then ws for +10, which would be the highest % you have around 4.46% shot at +9 and a 0.89% shot at +10

So needing 16800 Points for +10 and still 3363 Points for +9 (way more if you dont swim in enriched) means you need to repeat something you dont like 840 or 4200 times for a marginal pvm boost,
sounds pretty masochistic to mee

tldr: if you dont like bging in the first place, doing it aiming for +9/+10 is torture imo

I can still totally see going for realistic things like speedy rec wand or glorious rings/ armor set which has a way higher efficciency impact than 5% (at best) dps boost in pvm Settings either way
If you stare into the Abyss there's a 1d20 chance that 2d4 lesser Tanari'i
stare back at you

RE: BG
I think that Joe is proving that there are PVM purposes for the PVP gear, and the incentive of getting EXP (Which EXP is predominantly seen as a PVM reward) is something that will hurt the acquisition rate of the PVP gear to be used for PVM purposes.

That was a mouthful sorry lol.

But he's right. Slaughter significantly increases damage per + as the multiplier is Squared. Eg: +9 = 5^2 = 25% and +10 = 6^2 = 36% (11% more damage)

Having +9~+10 also increases Double Strafe damage by 20% as a separate multiplicative modifier. This means Double Strafe deals 456% damage instead of 380% NOT 400% instead of 380%.

Think of how you know that 2x Race 2x Element is strong? Because its (Base Damage*1.4)*1.4 instead of Base Damage*(1.4+1.4). Race, Size, Element, Ranged Attack, Skill Damage (all from cards and gear) are separate modifiers.

Just posting this for reference.
