Questions regarding homun

Will we see any in game method to reset the homuncs stats (such as a quest/$5 donation option), or am I better off starting over?

Stats are random...There won't be reset since there wasn't any choice to start.

or if you can't/wont kill the homun then sit your butt down in town and pretend ther is no healer. Homun hp/sp recharges obscenely fast.
