Can you read it on main?

I sometimes have trouble following things in the log window, i have to iether zoom way out to place it over darkness, or spin my screen around till its over top of water: shadows:roofs: ect.. but when im trying to follow directions on runs or to even notice someones talking to me/(or bot checking me).. i really have to strain to follow it.
So is there a way to maybe be-able to make that window changeable, from opaque to some solid backround color. (like the map window).

I've gotten an alternate main color, but I still have the same problem with all the other chats as well. I don't normally do things where I have to pay too close attention. It'd be nice to be able to make the chat background a solid color.

With the main alternate colors, they only help when a certain background color comes up.

An obvious example would be to have a white text on a very dark / black background, but go to Lutie or lutie fields and your white text is immediately invisible.

There is no one text color that can be easily seen on all* backgrounds (though I have some success using main-pink - tho truthfully its more of a fuschia)

If the chat window could be opaque I'd snag that download. I support this movement.

see its not the text color that i have a problem with sometimes its the box its in, if like the map we could change it from the transparent opaque to a solid box, that would be great.
and yea, if i could also make the PM box opaque id like that too.

It would need to be changable.. An opaque box would take out a massive part of your screen to not see monsters coming from. oO

Right, thats why i keep comparing it to like the map, and how it changes from opaque to solid, cause if its safe and your chattin or dealin through chat it would be better solid, but if your runnin for your life say in nameless, youd want to make it transparent, and other simular situations. i really appreciate all of your involvement in this thread heROs. so i know i didnt just have a dumb suggestion. luvs

I so wish for a download that would turn my chat box a solid color. I would also advise others to do so, I play in high res so making my chat box solid is a great idea. Even if people played smaller res they could downsize the chat box to 4-6 lines leaving main still readable unless people are spamming. I too have the problem with figuring out if people are talking to me or not and it has angered a few ppl cause they think im ignoring them. I also vote for this.

I remember playing on another server that did have the option to change the degree of transparency, i think it had 4 stages, 1 fully transparent with only text showing, 2 similar to what we have now, 3 a bit darker and 4 solid black
