Sakray Updating

Method One: use Dexter's Sakray Updater Package

Click on this link here and save those files in your RO folder.

Run ROSakFix, then spatchreader, then Alternative Sakray, clicking Ok whenever it asks you to. It should fix the problem.

Method Two: use this Sakup

Just put it in your ro folder and run it like you would run sakray.exe.

Using download managers such as Free download manager will help u download these a lot faster. Just remember where you get stuck (for example: 2007-09-19sdata_k.gpf) and download everything including the file and everything below and put it in ur RO folder and run the patch. After the patch finishes, you can discard the files if they are still inside the RO folder.

This is the ,long(er) way to do it.

Step 1 : First, you gotta mark the date from sakray, you open sakray, and note the first date the patcher downloads. And no, patch2 isent a date.





Step 2 : Now you have to find the date in the patch2 file in your RO folder. Make sure you get the right year, incase you didnt update for a looong time.




Step 3 : This isn't really much of a step, just mark the amount of dates you want download, make sure to not make it to much, data_k files are mostly big files, so incase you got a bunch of those you should try to download just those at once. The patcher might still crash if you take to much files.




Step 4 : Delete everything below the files you marked / want download. Example :

1154 2005-05-31sdata_k.gpf
1155 2005-05-31sdata_k2.gpf
1156 2005-05-31sdata_k3.gpf

If there's something simiiar to this afther the file, dont delete it or the patcher wont reconize the file and it wont work at all. Its part of the update. It might just be 1, or more.

Note : You dont HAVE to delete the dates, instead of that, you can keep them in another file. If you do this, you dont have to download patch2 again afther you downloaded the files and have to start all over. If you do this, just cut new files into the original patch2 afther the last step.



Step 5 : Alright, so far editing the file. Now close patch2 and safe it. Then right click it and select the lowest thing. This should give you all the info aboud the file, see next step.




Step 6 : This is what you should get on your screen. Mark the file as read only, mostly the thingie to the lower left.




Step 7 : Your file is ready to update now, safe the changes and update sakray untill its ready.




Step 8 : Afther downloading the files, you need to mark the file back. So it wont be read only anymore. Otherwise the file cant be edited anymore or downloaded again.




Alright, your sakray has been updated. For this part of the files ! Afther this you gotta do this whole process all over untill you downloaded every single file. By doing this, you will now be able to download new files every time you do this. Which means, sakray will give you a new date now and you can mark new files to be updated.
