This will be my last post on the matter.

Tony, the fact that you have nothing better to do than question my motives and life is really trivial. I believe there's a curb waiting on the side of a road for your drunk ass.

Onto the more serious posts; I have tried running heRO as an admin and it doesn't work. I even re-installed it using different initial resolution sizes to get the client to work as advised by Draco, and still no dice. I've also had problems with Chrome and Firefox working properly despite having a fully-upgraded flash client and the browsers are fully up to date them selves, although Chrome is running more smoothly now. I've read online that others have similar problems, and it's very possible that it's my laptop itself.

my wife had the same issues even when running as admin and with compatibility settings. Turns out the issue is that you should set your RO setup so that it's in windowed mode and not full screen - i reckon it might have something to do with windows 8 wanting to "always be on top" in regards to it's popping sidebars and whatnot.

anyway, the second we tried windowed mode it all works fine and not a glitch since.
