The new Sakray annoyal thread

It is 4 AM now.

At 1:30 AM I had the (kinda bad) idea to fix my issues with some hats (Mystcase Hat e.g.) by updating my Sakray, as GM-Ayu recommended.

I found out my Sakray version was rather... outdated. It started with some december 2007 dates...
Now it's close to finishing May 2008, I'm tired, I wanna play, but this updating takes?? for e v e r ...

I listened to the Sepultura live album in the meanwhile...
I read ~500 pages of webcomics...
I dare not to do anything that uses up computer resources, as I experienced the Sakray update as something rather... delicate. (Actually it would be the first time Sakray makes the update without error in my whole RO career)

When Sakray patches really slowly, close it and restart until it gets fast.

None of my updates work for some reason... once they come close to bein finished, they just stop... and then nothing happens.. After a while I usually have to get a complete new install... it's rather annoying

@zanias: Try using the FTP way of updating. (if you don't know/care/find it I can help you out)

When you have an outdated Sakray you're better off getting a new installer, since often the patcher misses some important files.

It's nice that it patched ok, it's always useful to be updated, however next time you have an issue with a custom hat (such as mystcase), run the heRO patcher instead xD

It really doesn't matter.. I usually just get a new patcher. I can download fast enough now while doin other things on my compy so it's a might as well thing for me.
