Why so many applications? o_O

As you can see there are a bunch of different apps to open the client.??Why is this???Are there modifications to each one that make then unique???Thanks for any help clarifying this.

The ones that say like Hero pink and colors and stuff are for different colored main chat colors :D

The color they say is the mainchat text color, no death is the one that when you die the death window doesnt show up, causing dmg to the parties at times, the last is the patcher for...patching (the others run the game directly) and the grf isnt an app xD
