thought the most cookie cutter sniper build is 99 base dex, 99 base agi and everything else into int (for SP/Falcon damage) or str (weight for more ammo)

Beyond Double strafe and Improve concentrate, Archer doesn't get much. Sniper gets better buffs and damage skills like True Sight, Wind Walker, Sharp Shooting and Falcon Assault. Traps have always been kinda meh, but Ankle snare is a must. Detect can be useful at times.

well, you might not believe it, seth, but i actually got an order for a WS build and a monk build way back when i was starting out from a renown pro sinX and a notorious sniper. Had a really good discussion going with the pro sinX and his last comments was "sounds good, i'll try it". So i am quite sure i can give you a pretty good build for your money's worth.

basic sniper build would be what legend said

99 Dex
99 Agi
rest into vit or int

there are also a bunch of different types of builds you can do like FA build (Falcon Assault) where you pump your stats into VIT & INT to deal tonnes of dmg via FA

im not too sure on that build but im sure you can search it up if your intrested in that
