fishing question

i did the fishing quest a few days ago with a different charc of mine and instead of starting at the old fishing spot, i started fishing at the new one, but i wasn't getting any fishing points. just wondering, do i have to fish at the old fishing spot to get the first 50 points, then go to the new one to get the last 20 or can i still get the first 50 at the new spot as well? *sorrie if that sounds confusing* @_@;;

Yeah you have to fish at the old fishing spot first, I guess that's where you "learn the basic" and then you can learn more at the advanced spot.
