Just make it like like the top 10 then. Do what you usually do when someones fishing, gang them horribly until they run out of fish or Kill them by eating icecream.

It doesn't always work.

It would be better to have the ranking from a tournament organized by a GM. But that is difficult to do since time zones and all that, you wouldn't get everyone who would want to participate, to participate.

But the thing is, most people don't even bother PvPing anymore, since there's like no competition, and not to mention the fish wasters making it no fun X(

PvP tourney with prizes would be overran by asura champs most likely or some spammer type people so it doesn't sound too fun to me.

Now, as teOx suggested, a group PvP tourney would be fun, like WoW type = D

Because clearly champs have no counters and are the kings of all PVP. Most classes have a way to counter champs (Although fish make it a lot harder; maybe not allow them in the tourney?), or can get a card to do so.

GR cards are the ultimate counter, yeah. But there are other ways. If you're quick enough with the reflexes you can dodge the asura with a hide clip (I've seen it done to me too many times...). I think you can with cloak too, but I'm not sure on that one.

Cant Cloak it. But you can spear stab it

Yea, I got hide, but my REAL build uses 2 mantis rings, meaning that it might mess up someone's build, and those champs who cast it in like -1 seconds are pretty hard hitting/hard to counter.

Btw, does GR make it 50% damage reduct or 100%? = O

Or you could dispel the champ, soul burn the champ, inflict a status on the champ (frozen, stun, sleep, stone, etc.), hide dodge it, wall of fog it, spell breaker it, safety wall it, cicada skin shed dodge it, run around a corner/obstacle during cast, tank it (possible without GR for several classes - especially if you have a high priest on your "team"), or just kill the damned champ before they Asura you.

Asura is not, by any means, the end-all skill in PvP.
