did you use the vent provided in that link? if you use a different client it won't work

I was unable to connect with the latest client, but the one provided in an earlier link could, however. Unfortunately, it was as desolate as a warren battlefield.

Not that I'm in any way implying that Ventrilo is a battleground.

If you've downloaded and are running the 2.1.3 link from treefiddy, it should be 87.198.232.170:3784. If that's not working, then it's something on your machine. We can try to fix that, though.

If you have multiple copies of Ventrilo installed, I hear that has issues. Try uninstalling them all, then just installing 2.1.3.

Although I've had guinea pigs around the web installing Ventrilo to a new directory and running that. Works ok!
