Hmm...is it still okay to post in this thread since it's been a long time?
I've actually played both games myself. I sort of prefer Ar tonelico 2 over the first one, but only a bit. Plus, the fact that a certain character from the first game is playable in the second was quite surprising.
EDIT: Doesn't this actually belong in the Games forum? o.o

just don't spoil it for me xD.
I am a gamer but more of an artist so I don't play too much, though I love how they combine a really new idea of setting. Giving a really unique medieval feeling while having a really futuristic kind of place.
I won't spoil it for you. xD Although when I found out who the third Reyvateil was, I was quite surprised.
I agree. It's like the first game, only there's a lot more of the medieval/futuristic mix in it. Plus, depending on a choice you make at a certain point in the game, different things may happen.
First game: jokes are funny because you start wondering how are the characters totally unaware of what's happening even with all the not-very-subtle messages
Second game: you know what you are expecting and it still makes you laugh because all sense of precaution to the wind and went for the deep end
Great series, either way, but only for selective audience ^_^
it's pretty hinted that there is a 3rd one as they implied it everywhere, though likewise we have no idea what goes on at all as a plot or the history of the world, but we'll love the game nevertheless
I'm wondering what that city Jacqli told Cocona to go to is like. Hopefully it'll be in the 3rd game, whenever that comes out.
How do you make spoiler tags (are we allowed to)? I wanted to comment on something, but it would probably spoil it for those who haven't played Ar tonelico 2 yet.
