That's not the only place it's happening, either. I've spotted double Hunter Fly and Dragon Fly on the Muka map, and double Vagabond Wolf on the forest map that's supposedly part of Sograt Desert. Normal monster density seemed higher too. I'd guess the spawns are being loaded twice, either from duplicate files or the same file included in two different places.
Captain's Manteau is untradable and unstorable. I don't know if its meant to be but... it defeats the point of it being a "guild's" treasure, and useless if the guild leader's isnt one of the few classes who can equip it.

Free Cast bugs sporadically. Instead of being able to walk normaly, as soon as you start casting, you cannot move, exactly like a wizard would. Can get frustrating.

some novices are being born twice, and no, they are not trans characters.
So they reach lvl 9 before ever touching the grounds. Any info on this? :s

the grounds i imagine, and as for the free cast, i've noticed that too, not entirely sure if it's bugging, but i do get "locked" in place up until i get the skill off.
this happened frequently to me while hunting orc ladies, most of the time i'd get the skill off just before they hit me and then i'd move as they were attacking me and still take damage.
Not understanding the question for the grounds... some novices recreate their characters and there's a few odd novices out there because they were created on old svn and needed to be moved to new svn manually by GMs. Can you clarify further on the novice thing?
