They want them to have the ability to make RELEVANT comments about WoE. "I give items away" or "I play to be social" have NOTHING to do with WoE. Whatsoever. At all.

Fine. Your welfare thread may count as WoE+"I gave away items". But you posted more than just the fact you give away items. It was not one sentence.

Ok I contributed little or none to a few of the recent WoE threads. I did have one legit idea. Granted not a great one but it was an actual idea and not pointless blathering.

I'm still curious as to why you think I should be separated from my friends. Just looked at my heRO MSN list. Like.. 2 are purely social. The rest WoE to some degree or another.
Give me a good reason why I can't speak to them on the forums, and why the reason they play the game can't be brought up on main, please?

Well I do feel I need to clarify my original idea. All current sections of the Forums would remain. There would have just been two new sections that were basically invite only.

And I did say other chat channels, plus they could discuss it in open chat. And there never was a rule that people couldn't talk to each other.

It sounds like a bad idea. And the spirit behind it was certainly more ranting.

But please don't put added meaning into the post that wasn't there.

EDIT: The idea of different chat channels is not original in gaming. Not quite sure how easy to implement in Hero they would be. But one game I play has over 12 different chat channels. Which btw you can listen to each you have access to and talk about anything in, except /trade which is only buying & selling allowed.

So an @WoE. @PvP, @Trade, if not too much work would not be a farfetched idea at all.

Whine and Suggestion threads remain. People are free to post there. Nothing has changed. I believe this thread has outlived its usefulness.

There's already guild forums. WoE generally doesn't come up outside of the Suggesting or Whining topics.
I fail to see the need to separate it more?
Not the mention why WoE can't be mentioned on main. For example, even though I don't WoE, I still like hearing the stories.


And although that specific suggestion wasn't there, the "Us VS Them" mentality was.
They're WoE. So what?
You're social. So what?
You're both players.


I think I'll leave it at that point.
