I think Aaron is talking about the blinding red bars on the pale background, I admit, even I started getting a headache just looking at it. ;o

Too bright of color on too soft, too much contrast, it hurts. D:

I wouldn't have minded a deeper and richer red such or even blue like your old symbol use to be, would have been easier on the eyes a great deal.
