we asociate pain with neuro receptors and not the brain but it is actually the brain that compute the signal and make us aware that a probable or likely damage has occured within our body.
when you think pain is bad, think again. how do you know that you've broken a finger if you do not have pain? how do you know that you have a haemorhage when pain do not exist?
pain is our damage control system's sensor. it makes us aware that damage has occured and that something needs to be done. actually it forces us to fix it, because we instinctively connects pain with bad.
