World Peace. A noble goal that ultimately will never be reached. As it is now, the two only forms of Population control that??exist for the control of the Homo sapien??species is either through War or disease and illness. Think of it, when a bear or other form of carnivore actually gets it's paws on a human, we go out there with our guns and shoot it so it doesn't have a chance to kill another one of us. Way to go food chain! You're certainly working hard for us~

Disease and illness is constantly attacked and??defeated by medical science, or at the very least treated to prolong our lives regardless to inhumanity of the suffering of the patient. And this alone makes us a very proud and arrogant people.

With the primary means of knocking us out of existence being combated, it's??up to our arrogance and flaws to take us out. We have to fight and kill our own kind off systematically so we don't overpopulate the world and drain it's resources beyond our control. Now this is accomplished through Territorial disputes or petty things like some world leader not having the balls and feeling insulted over some petty and little thing.

Voila, the seeds of war have been planted.??So we send our kids out to kill and be killed, yet we still seem to breed like Jackrabbits.??I predict that eventually there won't be a single patch of land left to stand on and those sci-fi films about sending humans to colonize other worlds (out of necessity) won't be quite so far fetched. And if we do find another intelligent species, the same shit will happen out there in space, away from our home planet's support.

There is no real way of obtaining World Peace without a massive, Highly Illegal, Highly Immoral, and Indiscriminate way of wiping out the majority of our peoples. Think of it this way. Our fish bowl is too small. Even if World Piece is achieved, it won't last. We're too arrogant and hostile a race.

Well said! So, let's hope nuclear plants explode or HIV(still no cure atm) spreads out of control and cause major mayhem of unnatural selection. Seriously the balance of life in this world has went awry and natural selection for the species Homo Sapien is almost no more. We'll have to depend on unnatural selection caused by each other to reduce the population. High population = food & shelter depletes faster = more sadness, envy, and evil thoughts = war =/= peace. Well, we humans are terrible, no? Even lions don't behave in such ways, unless hungry for food or being intruded.

Actually, lions behave like us. They wage war over territory, kill babies, murder outcasts who don't fit in, or who are different, and form powerful alliances that rule an area with force.
