@azurerogue. I like meant BG will cause other maps to be less farmed, if popular enough, massive zeny zink for a short medium term.

RO is also more addictive now (for me anyways). All of this is a good thing. Other gears's prices might also go down. (catch the wave before you missed it imo).

The best thing to revitalize this server is something like this < massive change that is generally good, since change isn't always good.

bio3 has some demons in it... would hate the possibility of receiving 3x (300%) damage from them...

imho all in all this update has done the server a world of good. BG gears and the hourly BG schedule brought attendance way up (yay hourly schedule!). What's more, it's 50k a pop... some ppl don't realize this, but this is a serious zeny sink. Let's say you win each and every BG you enter (highly unlikely, but let's assume it's true), you would sink 50k + whatever consumables you use times BG item price divided by six. So yes, at the very least, each glorious ring sinks 117*50k = 5850000z. At the very least. Add in losses, consumables, etc a glorious ring would cost you somewhere between 6 - 35m. Plus at least 117 * 15 minutes (registration time + battle time in average assuming battle phase goes relatively fast) of your life. Yay for more reasons to play RO!!

Another small point is, this addiction to BG (by other players can be exploited, more mvp & mini bosses thats alive imo)

This math is assuming that an entry fee is 50,000 and that you earn 6 points for every BG. As soon as you start loosing BG's and not getting points, you start increasing the amount of zenny you dump into an item.

not useless at all imho, i actually calculated the basic ones when the list first came out but decided to keep quiet because i thought "damn good way to sink zeny and provide a way for them denizens to pay for entertaining themselves "

Medal of Honor 67 BG's - 3,350,000 z

3,35m plus the cost of all the stuff you consume inside + CT cost + plus the simple fact that being a completly noob i fail hard at pvp(read: about half my BGs ended up in BG assistant NPC /pat-ing me and giving me 1 point for being such a good kid).

Lets boldly guess I wasted about 8-10m to get an accessory for my WS that doesn't need a Thorny shield for it to work.

I might have just failed maths, but man, I can foresee Bison Horn's value dropping.

Of course they are not slotted but I think Valk shield is a way better choice than thorny. Or hurfur/giganto.
