Granted, now everything is so easy to learn that everyone is a genius. Thus the world advances quicker and quicker with every second. People get so smart that they try to overthrow others and can not be outsmarted, so they just nuke the world and kill everyone. Those that survived are too smart and lack the technology to be so smart, so they degrade back to the stone-age and the world starts anew, with a lot of inbreeding. Congrats.
