I think everyone gets a little tired of killing to level up all the way, so it would be nice if we could earn experience in others ways. For instance, the Alchemists could gain experience by making potions. What do you think?

RE: Experience
I agree with Tenshi that having other ways to gain experience would be bad.. as it will bring another kind of unbalance to the server... (that's what GMs have been avoiding)

So, I fully support the "level the old fashioned way" by killing monsters. If you don't know, eXo, mvping is also a fun away to get experience. Icon_wink

If creating potions can give exp... it will only advantage the alchie, priest (holy water) and sin X (EDP).. So, I would say a big no no to that.. even though I play one of those classes x_x"

RE: Experience
As much as I enjoy games where you get exp for doing job-related stuff (for exameple priest would get exp from healing people), we cannot really change what is hard-coded in the game itself.

Adding npc's, quests, items, are all relativly easy, but this change you are asking, I'm not even sure if it's doable and if it is, it's not currently in our capacity, sorry Icon_wink

Just a note,
MMORPGs like Ragnarok Online or WoW are nothing but grinding. Unfortunately that is the balance. A game with features like you describe would be far too demanding for today's technology, but perhaps in the near future. Fable online is the game I am waiting for >_<

PS-Great idea though.

RE: Experience
A few quests provide experience... such as The Sign quest giving approximately 700k exp or so? People on the official server always use it as not only to enter Geffenia but also a great source of experience. These are open to everyone and seems to be as close to what the suggestion made is out of the little that Namin? knows...
