On the upside of this: If/when someone decides to do this here or on another server they could just limit the TK usage to a max of ten people, that way having a huge party won't overpower the TK.
Changing Kihop is even harder than doing a check if there are TK in the party... Namin? believes that Ms. Pandora have said how skills cannot be modified for the server as that is something for eAthena to do.
It is not related to the technical aspect of it, but the balance related. Taekwon Rankers and Star Gladiators already have a very impressive attack. In a party of 10, Kihop generates 100% attack boost already. Increasing the party of 20, Kihop will make it a 200% increase which is dangerous... especially if the large party concept is carried over to PvP and WoE situations as well.
I've seen taekwon rankers with a hundred and fourty levels under their belt. They couldn't kill me and I was a level eighty high priest. Taekwons aren't unbalanced...they're barely effective streaming damage classes XD
Changing the party limit is a simple switch in the SVN flat text. Let me poke around in what I have here and find it.
Also, might I suggest raising the party limit to at least 20? 10 seems a little extreme, especially if say a guild wanted to get together a big endgame party D:
EDIT: Never mind, turns out that the line is in the mmo.h, so it will in fact require a recompile. If you can do that however, this helps matters and I can let you know which variable needs to be changed.
I'm experience with eAthena knowledge to a degree as I had access to our secondary test server as an admin on my last server when we were testing class mods and whatnot. If you ever have any questions Pandora, let me know.
