RE: Beginner need's guidance
Well, you have 3 options:

Get a Magma Fist from Lava Golem.
Get a Sage to Endow your weapon with Fire Property.
Get a Forger to craft you a Fire Knuckle.

I think no more options left, but I am not sure.

RE: Beginner need's guidance
You cannot make your current weapon fire permanently, you can get a sage endow like Loveless suggested, that lasts 20 minutes (or is it 30?).

Lave golem are probably too hard, so I suggest you ask on main for a forge smith to craft you a VVS Fire Fist, they are the easiest level 3 weapon to forge I think, so you shouldn't have too much problem finding someone to make/sell you one.

Sage's endows are 20 minutes (levels 1-4) or 30 minutes if they have level 5.

RE: Beginner need's guidance
a VVS Fire Fist in a sense, is permanently fire based~

Magma Fist is not out in heRO yet believe, as it is episode 11+ item. Not to mention, personally think that Magma Fist is rather horrible since Flame Launcher only activates after getting hit (and the percentage is not overly reliable either) x.x;

What level is the monk right now if Namin? may ask? Sandman's exp is not particularly brilliant (although its katar can be sold for a bit and its card is one of the most sought after because of the Elemental Wings in heRO)

RE: Beginner need's guidance
metalings can easily take you to job 50Icon_biggrin
but if you're in a hurry you could try porcellios (not much greater jobexp but betterIcon_biggrin), or party up with someone and go hunt leaf cats (need to do a quest to enter the best map for them, but it's nothing hard just find someone nice to help you get the items you need)Ok

If I can be of any help, just PM: Jess
if I'm not busy with anything I'd love to help youIcon_biggrin

RE: Beginner need's guidance
For a monk, I was recommended to heal bomb Firelocks until job 50 and then some 20-30 odd levels afterwards also when I became a monk. Personally it only took about two days. Icon_smile

Leveling like that unfortunately requires reset at some point in the monk levels tho. Getting occult impact and leveling off of enemies with high defense like in turtle island also seems to be very effective at your higher levels, although I'm not exactly sure on simple leveling ways that don't require a chain geared towards that type of monster. It has been a while since I've played a monk ._.

1N and 2W of aldebaron is a map with some pretty decent mobs to OI.??They're soft and the only annoying feature about them is that they like to cloak occasionally.

Basically 2 OIs and it's dead if you're built right.??Big exp right off the start.

After that get into a shared party and spam OI on ice titans, they take upwards of 8k damage from OI if you have enough str.

EDIT: forgot to say, if you're going to be using spirit skills and going pure spirit, you'll find that a mace class weapon works better. It might be slower but you won't be using the aspd so it won't matter. Try a stunner, you can buy them in morroc. (btw, OI is forced neutral so don't worry about element)
Hi, don't whisper me please.
