Well, I know double-posting ain't exactly encouraged, but... I got something to show, so, I guess i got a fine excuse, right? Better to keep it all on one single topic, right?

It's like this... A friend of mine, who's in college, more precisely in multimedia, got this assignment, on which he has to make a game. To be exact, they (my friend, and his group colleages) will have to make their own version of the classic game "Asteroids". So, my friend came to me, to ask for some models. To start with, he asked me to model the player spaceship. He gave me two weeks to do it, and this was, like... 3-4 days ago. Started yesterday, and...



636 poligons, and a 256x256 sized texture map, with a 256 color palette.

Now, I'll wait for whatever he wants me to model, next.

Yup, Kadar, you got me. It's indeed Blender... Though, it ain't that hard, with that background, and all... XD

Well, I did something else. It's a chibi character template. With this, making characters will be a lot easier. I think...



Yeah, it's pretty low, in definition... It was intended to be that way. I believe that low-poly models can also be found as pretty, and that's what I'll try to demonstrate, with the characters made out of this template. ^__^

pretty good stuff you have there. I learned how to make 3d models myself before but to achieve creating a game with it is beyond me. Keep up the good work.
