My friend is trying to join the server and she keeps getting this error:

She downloaded the full hero installer, patched sakray completely, downloaded june mini installer, patched hero, and it still won't work! She deleted the data folder and tried disabling her firewall but it still won't work. Any help would be deeply appreciated.
She has never downloaded any other RO server.

is she trying to start the client using the patcher or by running the actual client?

I think she has tried starting RO through the patcher and the actual client to the same effect. I'm trying to get her to post her RO folder right now.

That is her RO folder and everything in it!

Ask her to rename the data folder and try again, let us know if that helps.

What size is the file sdata.grf ?

Tell her to run setup.exe and make sure the right graphic/sound options are selected.

That didn't work, her sdata.grf is 1.04GB big. Her graphic/sound options are the same as mine are now and she renamed her data folder.

I'm going to try uploading my RO folder and letting her DL it, I'll tell you how that works out. :x
EDIT: Nevermind that'll take like forever. o_o

And it still gives the same error?

Run setup.exe and disable sound altogether, sometimes it helps.

What operating system does she use?

Does she still have the installing file she used? If so she can try re-installing RO + Sak + heRO.

She uses XP. Do you think she should try installing kRO and sakray, and then the june installer? Or do you think that should be the same as the full client and get an error.
