RE: StarGladiator PvP map save question

Yea, the particular problem is that the reset npc was made before SGs were created. :l

RE: StarGladiator PvP map save question

The reset npc uses a function that calls either a "skillreset" or a "statreset" or both. Those hard-coded function do not include resetting a SG's maps and we don't plan to change it. It's working as it is meant to already.

RE: StarGladiator PvP map save question

There are a lot of servers which have a separate npc to reset SG skills. Someone should go and test if they can reset through the miracle skill. No reason to make an npc if it doesn't really need to be there.

RE: StarGladiator PvP map save question

Well it's like a 0.01% or 0.1% chance to activate the Miracle skill, or the Angel one.

(Miracle being a chance on walking anywhere and Angel being the one when you sit next to another TK-type person)

I would do that if it would actually trigger.

Edit : I know for sure some servers have the Star Gladiator map reset, but I don't know anything about script stuff.

Puppet - 76 Sage
Zeffie - 71 Priest
Zallie - 70 Star Gladiator
Minamori - 71 Assassin
Nolani - 70 Ninja
And many more to come? =/

its working as it meant to, but it can work better Icon_biggrin

when you reset NPC with starglad, make the angel skill activate and VOILA resetted.

shall we put this in whining and start the pros and cons of it? i cant think of a single reason SG should be shafted when it comes to resets considering ALL builds are supposed to be permanent.

yay!

RE: StarGladiator PvP map save question

Officially you can reset before level 40 via NPC

You can also buy the Neuralizer Box from the Kafra shop >_> which contains an item that resets your skills. (...Yes, I looked it up...because I'm a dork)

Builds being permanent is a lie these days XD Even on the official servers! You may as well give the SGs out there their map reset at this rate.

I don't use @main. Do not ask for me there

"Lady" Linnea: 99/69 Spirit
Champion

Aslinn: 9x/6x High Wizard
Jocelinn: Low-level dagger stalker
Lemon Poring: 9x/50 Brewer

RE: StarGladiator PvP map save question

thats really interesting. but the neuralizer box doesnt change my point. the permanent-ness of all characters are the same. SG should not be extra-limited by map restrictions

Like I said, you may as well let them reset their maps. There's really no reason not to (That I know of >_>; )

RE: StarGladiator PvP map save question

The neuralizer box doesn't reset a SG's maps as far as I know, thus even on official server they may let you reset skill/stat but not map.

But they provided you with a way to do it, which works at low chance, it's how its meant to be.

RE: StarGladiator PvP map save question

That post was mostly in response to the "All builds are meant to be permanent" statement. I figured it didn't let you reset maps either =3
