Shmoo! 25 characters
Order of Chaos 21 characters
soul society 18 characters
Angel Empire 27 characters
CavaleirosdaTempestade 16 characters
Freelancer 13 characters
The Peacekeepers 11 characters Thus, using theses facts, out of the ~40-50 players currently playing RO everyday, 89 of them are allied AND fighting the remaining minus 49-39 getting the castle. And that is why Shmoo! lost a castle last sunday.
Fact : Numbers are useless and can be taken from any angles.
It's not "guys only", it's "heroic"!

RE: Guild War
I had a large rant typed up. I seriously did. I love large rants at times, even if I never post them.
At any rate. Again, keep in mind I don't actually WoE, since I can't find the energy to get off my butt and level, so I should probably either be ignored or shot.
I'll instead rip a bit out of the rant and add to it.
If you break all alliances, you hurt small guilds just as much, if not more. One of the ways a new guild can compete in WoE is by use of alliances. If you just break the alliances of the large guilds, it seems rather... Lopsided. If I had a small guild and someone broke my enemy's alliances to make it more 'fair', I'd just break mine off as well, though "what if"s hardly matter.
And, as others have mentioned, even if you take out alliances, people will decide to help each other out in WoE. All you'll do by taking out alliances is making it unofficial, and making it so that one guild can easily backstab another, which I don't think too many people will regard as great fun.
If anyone wants to see my large rant, PM me and I'll send it to you. I don't like not stating my opinion, so I'll let anyone who wants to see an insane man's opinion see it, but when I state my opinion using so many details, I go into rant mode, and I don't like posting rants lest somehow I offend someone, or make people think I actually take things as seriously as my rant seems to indicate.

GM-Scott Wrote:Even if we force Shmoo! to break their alliance with Angel Empire (which I really think would be GM power abuse), what makes you think both guild would not help each other and for that matter attack each other?
Scott is right, breaking an allience is an abuse of GM power. The point of MMORPGs is to interact with real people. What's the point in that if you can't make friends and help each other?
Quit whining about advanced classes, you'll eventually be one, and normal characters will complain about you. There will always be somebody better than you, and you will always be better than somebody else, no matter what, and there is no best person. Get over the fact that they can level better than you, and just play the game like it was meant to be played, to have fun.

RE: Guild War
I just wanna say that i am not encouraging GMs to break the alliances, but the PLAYERS to break them.
I don't want any GM-Power abuse as well.
