Naruto quality...

Has anybody else noticed that the newest season of naruto really went to hell?

I mean the art literally sucks, the body parts are very out of proportion.
The whole thing looks like it's getting just a bit too cartoony...

And the story just plain SUCKS in this season!
I mean come on, the most recent episode (168) is about a ramen making challange. What the hell does this have anything to do with Sasuke's wherebouts?

I say they hire back their old artists and writers, and get back to the damn story. If the next season is the same, I'm giving up the series, I can't stand when the older stuff is better than the new...

Anybody else feel the same?

Not because I didn't like it, that was just the latest episode at the time. Everything up until that point though, I thought was great. I haven't seen any of what you're talking about apparently. But I sincerely hope the series doesn't get butchered. It would be a shame.

What you have now, is fillers so they don't catch up to the manga.
The 23rd or 30th or March, they will start following the manga again, with an arch telling us about

I still watch it. I don't care about the graphics/etc/etc. Gives me something to do.

Don't catch up to the manga? Isn't the manga like, insanely far ahead of the anime? And it's got parts that are completely different also.

The manga is far ahead, yeah, but after the aforemensioned spoiler (and here's another one):

I don't get why they're so afraid of catching up. The fillers are killing me, no matter how much I like Naruto.

The manga isn't that far ahead .... 1 episode usually covers about 4 manga chapters (if not more) and since they barely finished the arc after the whole Saskuke thing .... they put in filler episodes .... most animes opt for that option when they're getting to close to the manga's latest storyline .... another option (which I like better than getting crappy fillers) is stopping the anime stories for a few months(i.e. the bleach anime will stop after episode 70ish and start again later). As for me, I really think Naruto lost most of it's appeal (too much power too fast ... bleach is following the same path too) ... so ya ... I practically only read/watch One Piece now (in the newer animes ... I'll always be an oldschool anime fan .... albator anyone?) ...

Yo naruto is so bad now, i saw a scene where naruto had his clowns like running through a bunch of enemies, instead of having each clown do a different pose or something they were all in the exact same position...I coulda sworn i saw some glue from them copying and pasting the stuff on the screen.
