A lot of them do, actually.??Spelling is generally one.??I get over most of it though, because as a general rule the language is representative of those who speak it.??Languages evolve based on the people who speak it.??American English (all English, but more so American English in the last century) has seen a fairly rapid series of changes that often make it seem "stupider."??I wish there was more to it than that.??So, yes, it bothers me that our language is repeatedly degraded by the people who speak it the most, but it's what is happening and as it becomes more common the language will adapt to accomodate it.??

You are correct, sir.??My "problems" were simply problems with your argument, not with swear words in general.??My problem with swear words was stated below that.??

You say that in a manner that makes me think you're trying to prove me wrong somehow - I never said we should have swearing rules.??I said I didn't care about the rules but that I, personally, don't like swearing for a completely unrelated reason.??

So yes, to state it openly, I would be fine with eliminating the no swearing thing (and it would make being a Main moderator way less obnoxious).??At the same time, I like the rule because I find swearing obnoxious, just like I find people who have a need to swear in every sentence obnoxious and tiresome.??That's seriously not meant to offend anyone in particular, I just think the overuse of curse words gets annoying.??If you throw one in here and there, I can live with it (and even appreciate it, at times).??
