Good thing in Vietnamese there isn't "proper" grammar.
Example. Let's take the word eat. Some examples of tenses in English would be as follows:
Yesterday I ATE. Today I EAT. Tomorrow I WILL EAT.
Now, let's have those same sentences be translated from Vietnamese: Yesterday I eat. Today I eat. Tomorrow I eat.
Then again...there are seven accent marks in this language. One missed accent mark...*shudders*
So you know you're a noob when you don't take a language class at school with your native tongue because you think you'll fail.
