adjusting framerate/reducing lag?

thanks everyone, especially Kadar, for the advice.

i went into registry and changed it to 8 bit, will let you know the progress.

however ive gotta say that im positive it is -not- the internet connection.

i also have these 1-5 minute freezes, which happened during morrowind.
