I agree with the @trade, that would save a lot of space for those who want to stick with business instead of [mostly] useless chatter. so without being redundant and repeating all the plus sides already brought up, i agree
As for alliance, Im sure it would make some things easier, but i think having parties that mix people from different guild to utilize a classes role better would be just as good. Or even the guild ally's sharing Vent if they have one, which im sure some guild alliances do already, if they even do WoE as allys
