Can't connect to server. Please help

OK the problem is every time I run heRO I get through the patcher, I log in, and a message pops up that say please wait which I expect, but after a few seconds another message pops up that says failed to connect to server. I've tried changing my firewall, but I'm not really sure what the problem is. If it will help I'm trying to run it on vista. I'd really appreciate any suggestions anyone has to offer.
