Endure Problem

I noticed something on my crusader. While running past banshees with endure activated their dark soul strike made me flinch a little second. I am not sure if there is a being hit animation but I am sure I am not running as continuously like I normally do after being hit with endure.

I am not sure how it is with other soul strike spells (or certain spells in generals) but anyways, here my question:

Is that right? If not (as I suppose it), can that be changed somehow?
