"Ninja" gears!

I have them.??I've asked in the test/dev section on what I might be doing wrong, but no one has replied.??=/

They're 8-bit bitmaps which is what is required.??When I load them into SprTool it's just a blur.??Like the image was turned 45 degrees and stretched.??When I try to use SPR Conview it freezes.??I've had these programs for a couple of years now without updating.??That might be it, but I doubt it.??I think it did this to me the last time I tried to make a sprite which was back in '08, I think.??=/
