The way Namine puts it makes sense. The custom systems SHOULD help new players build up / make cash / whatever... but established systems should overtake them in the long run - or else they'd be overpowered (high OCA drop rate + GR cards in OCA, anyone???).

Ex used to spend hours EVERY DAY fishing simply because OCAs + GR + general profit from OCAs made it more efficient than ANY method of grinding. Back before fishing was nerfed (repeatedly), I made about 1 mil zeny PROFIT + 1-4 OCAs per 4k bait run...that took me about 30-40 minutes... 2+ OCAs + 1.5ish m zeny per hour alongside the chance for GR? There was NO reason to do anything else. Ever.

That's not how we want the system to be.

P.S. If Namine and I agree a few more times, I might actually start believing in all this 2012 nonsense.
