also i've always wondered WTF gloom under night is and how it was inspired

not sure if you mean you have the answer now or not...but if not then heres an answer

I've always been curious about the origins of some of newish MVPs, like Atroce and RSX. I have an idea as to what Gloom Under Night is, although it's purely speculation based on looking a bit at sprites. My thoughts on what Gloom is, is that he is a highly mutated(Leveled?) gremlin, mutated by the Ymir heart pieces found in the Rachel sanctuary quest. This is purely based on shared traits between a gremlin, gloom and the inbetween, Hodremlin.



A: All three share tube like necks and hodremlin and gloom share a pointed head.
B: All three share three leg segments.
C: Hodremlin and Gloom share fin like arms, possibly due to bone loss from being exposed to ymir heart replicas power.
D: Glowing hands, probably concentrated power absorbed from the heart fragments. on Hodremlin one can see glowing veins on his upper arms which probably become the "vents" for the energy on gloom's back.

Just throwing this out there seeing as how gremlins might be a living weapon of Rachel's army along with Beholders (which seemingly also undergo a mutation in Rachel sanctuary), seeing as how they are supposedly used to attack the airships that are powered on ymir heart pieces presumably created by Rekenber. Not sure if this is significant, but Gloom's mob of Echios and Agavs may be priests crazed by the heart fragment that view Gloom as a god or messenger of Freya. Of course this is all speculation based on looking at sprites for too long, and maybe there will be/is lore explaining what Gloom is.

I just like to know what it is I'm killing and what it's place in the world of Ragnarok is. I'm also curious as to what the Hierarchy of MVPs is, not what tier it is, but it's standing and rank in the grand scheme of things in the Ragnarok. I'd also like to know what the hell Phreeoni is, what on earth spawned that thing?

Was one opinion, but someone corrected that and gloom actually was created by this~

Gloom Under the night was actually a summon mistake because they actually tried to bring Freya, I do not see that is an actual "evolution" of hodremlin.
