Cant patch properly

I've been having this problem for some time now. I've tried everything mentioned in this post short of a support ticket. I downloaded the mini installer, deleted my whole HeRO folder and downloaded the full installer and ran that, and got the latest files out of that link. Nothing seems to work. Patcher says failed to load patchlist, and when I try to go straight to hero.exe, failed to connect to server.
