What am I?

I am one
The same, divided in two
In infinitely many packages.
Yet i dispise all segments of me
With defined prejusice
Never realising that they were all
Parts of me.

I dispise my other half
In my innocent youth
Unknowing that one day
I would love them
Unconditionaly.
Never realising what I am
Even as I stare at my own reflection
In the sea of wisdom.

I rarely catch a glimpse
Of the truth
As the wind of time
Distorts that mirror
Time and time again.
I often lose who I am.

Yet I always know
Deep in my heart
That I am capable of greatness
And the ultimate evil.

I know that one day
I must walk
The road that all existance must take.
That dark Valley
That i refuse to face.
