Ungoggy:
Glassjaw has an interesting style, but I'm not a fan of their lyrical flow, and the instrumentation doesn't seem to fit.
Huntress:
OH MY GOD! Joe Hisaishi is an amazing composer. I haven't seen any movies he has scored, but I LOVED "Path of the wind". Thank you for sharing this!
Lena:
Out of the two songs, I liked the one by Boats & Birds better. It was very pleasing to listen to; acoustics are always nice and coupled with a gentle voice, it really created a nice harmony.
"Lights" seems like a song I'd have to listen to time and again for it to grow on me, but I like the energy it has to it; a nice electrical style mixed with soft vocals.
Icy:
The first couple tracks were meh; I don't really go for that kind of music if I'm listening to something electronic. Though, I did like "Our Planet of Love" because it seems a lot like drill & bass with some trance thrown in. I'll get back to you on the rest.
Deviluke:
Donkey Kong Country had some awesome music! You didn't link it, but I really liked Disco Train's music. As for Xenosaga, I've never heard anything from that game but the music sounds really cool!
I can't say I'm a fan of Bring Me the Horizon, at least, for the song you put. I prefer more melodic vocals. The Emilie Autumn song was alright, but I felt like the vocals didn't really blend with the music itself.
And for the Kirby track.... lol. I didn't see it coming but I love that track haha.
Proto:
That Kavinski track was oddly addicting, I'll have to check out the rest of Kavinksy's stuff. Thanks for sharing that!
Ahh, Marina & the Diamonds! I'm a huge fan of female UK-based music and that was a very nice song that you shared. It sounded like a mix of Kate Nash and some instrumentals from an American rock band which is a nice combo. Sooo favorited.
Epixhia was alright; I like the lighter style of it and it's not overwhelming with too many different synths going at the same time which is nice. Vibrasphere was more on the relaxing side with a more trance-like sound. Also a thumbs up.
Kona:
First off, if any gamer
hasn't heard "Simple and Clean," then they've obviously never touched on the finer part of RPG gaming. Kingdom Hearts was a pretty fun game series, although I haven't really gotten to much of it as of yet. +1
Momentum looked interesting, and the music was really relaxing to listen to!
Roaring Tides was really amazing to listen to; I liked the piano-bass mixture and the backround bell synth. Thanks for sharing that one especially! I'll have to check the anime out eventually.
