RE: Chronicles of Fairyland - An offering of Peace
Various heroes gathered near the Niflheim "town" square on July 28 at 8PM after defeating the Lord of Death, which was conveniently roaming around the spot. Under the dim light of a white dwarf, they waited for Lucretia, talking amongst themselves and speculating on what awaited them. Ten minutes past eight o' clock (rune-midgard time), the fairy appeared, not wearing her dark randgris helm, and dressed in welcoming light-colored clothes.

Some greeted her, some went the extra mile and bowed, while others asked for Cynbel, as well as for her true intentions.

"Cynbel is... not here." Was one of the dark fae's answers. "As for my intentions, I want to rebuild Fairyland. Restore it to what it used to be."

Having answered, she created a portal to her castle.

The castle was dark and dreadful, as would be expected from a place that once belonged to Mystra. The bushes were well-taken care of however, a sign that Lucretia was eco-friendly. The heroes followed her inside the castle, noticing that some parts were blocked off, protected by small, floating blue spheres of energy. The room she led them to contained neither banquet or drinks. The excuse was that talks of rebuilding Fairyland came first.

Lucretia claimed she wanted to make Fairyland a great place, like it once was, going as far as to say she wanted to rule alongside her sister. Of course, few heroes believed her. Upon being asked about the reason she invaded Payon Castle various days ago, she replied with seeming honesty. The treasure she wanted from the Chief of Payon was a replica of the bell that Moonlight Flower carries around. It apparently holds the same powers the original does: raising the dead.

When the time came for the Fae to leave the room to have someone "bring the feast", some decided to check out the room for traps. Others simply sat and talked. There was a general feeling of uneasiness in the air.

Then, Lucretia came back... With two grass mutants at her side.

After knocking out most of the visitors, the green creatures grabbed four of them and ran off. The now-prisoner's names were Summerstream, Balawan, Kotori, and Galoo. Lucretia informed she would release 2 of the prisoners, but it was up to the visitors to select who would be saved. She left, giving them two hours to decide.

It was not long before Fairy Cynbel interrupted the heroes, who were actually considering who to save. Still astonished at the turn of events, he claimed he knew how to save the four prisoners. They would sneak through Lucretia's garden, journey through the caves and get to the basement of the castle. From there they would traverse through the dungeon and find the prison.

The brave party consisting of Cynbel, Ezekiel Stalker, Procyon, Nikki, Super Icy, Sacerdos Signat and avaricious quietly traveled through the garden maze, avoiding one of the Grass Mutants that kept watch.

Soon, they found the sealed-up entrance to the cave. Many dark creatures roamed, creatures that weren't associated with Lucretia. They're from the time when Mystra lived in the castle. Cynbel's love for Lucretia became more obvious when he pleaded the heroes not to kill her. He was terribly jealous (and somewhat heartbroken) when the fae fell for the human Jin, and comforted when she was betrayed, but, in the words of one of the heroes in the party, he got "friendzoned".

Cynbel bravely lead the team through the basement, coughing constantly as he endured the "thick darkness" of the area. Different fiends and spirits blocked their path, but the heroes would not give up. It wasn't long before they reached the prison.

The moment the seal on the prison cell door was broken, a Lord of Death appeared on the other side of the hall, which prompted everyone to run inside. Finally, the heroes had found the prisoners. They made sure everyone was okay, and prepared for battle. The fight against the pale horseman was a tough one, but with Cynbel's help, they managed to survive.

Trekking back through the dungeon of Lucretia's castle, something followed the heroes. The Lord of Death would not give up the chase. Using wit and ice walls, Cynbel and the heroes lured the pale horseman and trapped it long enough to run away. One of Lucretia's grass mutants warned her of the escaped prisoners. They ran as fast as they could, taking another route outside.

At the castle lobby, Cynbel was stopped in his tracks by a Trap Force. With threatening words from Lucretia, he was whisked off to an unknown location. Left to fend for themselves, the heroes bravely fought Lucretia, taking down her grass mutants and other creatures.

The battle raged on for several minutes. The decisive moment happened when a clown flung a tarot card. The Chariot. Lucretia's wings crippled, and fell to the ground in pieces. As she shrieked in sheer agony, the final blows were dealt.

She fell to the floor, whimpering. She swore a most dreadful revenge, crawling away, and finally teleporting. The heroes left the castle posthaste, following Cynbel's wishes not to go after him.

Back at Fairyland, Pixie thanked the heroes and rewarded each of them with an Old Card Album, among other small prizes.

Cynbel's sacrifice was a great one, and although Pixie commented Lucretia wasn't the one to kill a fellow fairy, he has not been heard of since his capture. Ezekiel Stalker suggested they search Cynbel's home for clues, while Nikki Sixx and Sacerdos Signat would arrange a meeting with the Chief of Payon regarding Moonlight's Bell.

What will happen next? Only time will tell.
