Modified Renewal Cards, & New Custom Cards
The following cards are those whose effect are for renewal mechanics, and don't fit well into renewal in one way or another. This thread is for discussing the effects I've suggested here, and to hear whether they are balanced, useful, etc, or make their own suggestions.

Red means the original renewal effect.
Blue means the customized effect.

Niddhoggur Shadow Card - Armor
+5 Int. [High Wiz, Warlock] Fixed Cast Time -50%


+3 Int. [High Wiz, Professor, High Priest, Soul Linker, Ninja, Stalker, Super Novice] -10% Cast Time, -5% SP Cost, -5% Aftercast Delay. Chance to increase MATK by 12% for 5 seconds when attacking with magic.

Naght Sieger - Armor
Increases damage of Ghost element magic by 30%.


Increases damage of ghost element magic by 50%. Increases physical damage against Ghost Property Mobs by 25%. (Ghost Magic on pre-renewal isn't as powerful as on renewal, so it makes this card really bad.)

Atk+10. Chance to increase Perfect Dodge by 10 when attacking.

MATK+10. When Dealing Magic dmg, decrease fixed cast time by -50% for 4sec

Matk+10. When Dealing Magic dmg, decrease aftercast delay -15% for 5 seconds.

Chance to increase MATK by 20 and decrease casting time by 20% for 8 seconds when dealing magic damage.

Increase Effectiveness of Healing skills by 3%
Increases SP Cost of skills by 5%
(The description and script vary. The Script only affects heal's sp cost)

DEX + 1, AGI + 1. When dealing physical damage, there's a chance that for 4 seconds you will receive CRIT + 20.

DEF + 5. [Refine Rate > 12] DEF + 20, MaxHP + 10%. [Refine Rate > 14] MaxHP + 3%.

Changed the DEF increase to +1 and +2, and refines requirement to +7 and +9.

Tendrilrion Card - Weapon
CRIT + 5. [Refine Rate > 12] ATK + 35. [Refine Rate > 14] CRIT + 10

Changed the Refines to +7 and +9, and the +10 CRIT was lowered to +5. Increased the ATK to +40.

DEX+2, [Archer Class] DEX+1 Every 3 Refine

Queen Scaraba Card
Increases damage to scaraba by 30%.
When killing an enemy there's a chance of obtaining a Scaraba Summoning scroll. (Unimplemented)


Increases damage to scaraba by 30%. Gain 5 SP each time an insect monster is defeated. -10 SP if the weapon is unequipped.

Inflict 20% more damage with Critical Attacks

ATK + 10. [+ Two-handed Sword] If the weapon is refined to +10 or higher, ASPD + 1. If the weapon is refined to +14 or higher, ASPD + 1.

Ranged Attack Damage + 3%. ATK + 10. [+ Bow] If the weapon is refined to +10 or higher, ASPD + 1. If the weapon is refined to +14 or higher, ASPD + 1.

STR+2 [Merchant Jobs] Increases damage of Cart Revolution by 50%, but increases its SP cost by 12.

Script doesn't actually increase any SP Cost. +25% SP Cost for the skill Instead

ATK + 10. When killing a monster, adds a chance to have a poisonous herb drop.

ATK+10. Add a 1% chance to drop plant bottle when killing a plant monster.

(Mobster Card already gives +15% Critical damage, Aunoe gives 20% and Paper Gives 20%, so might as well give it something extra)

Sropho Card - Weapon
Chance of using crystallization on enemy when doing melee damage.

Changed to Shield Card. Reduce Damage from Water Property by 10%, Increase Resistance to Freeze by 20%, Add a 5% Chance to freeze the enemy when hit by physical damage. (Similar to how Flame skull does stone+curse+stun, except this one does only one status)

Pot Dofle Card - Armor
Enchant an armor with the water property. Decrease Damage from Fish by 10%.

Damage Reduction lowered to 3% 5% (Wings would make the original effect unbalanced, I suppose.)

King Dramoh / King Kray Card - Headgear
STR+2. [Swordman] STR+1 Every 3 Refine

Changed to +5 ATK Every 3 Refines

Kraken Card - Garment
Flee + 10, Enables use of Hide & Raid Lv 1. Chance of casting Wide Bleed Lv 1 when using Raid.
