Unlikely Ally, or Grave Mistake
General Cynbel and Agent selene sat at a table in a dimly lit room, opposite the recently captured Andromallius, minion of the nationalist insurgent Amdusias.

"What do you mean you don't know? Who else would?!" Asked the General, with his hand on his head, trying to cope with the frustration.

"You're dumber than I remember." The high wizard, in bewitching cuffs to prevent any tricks, shook his head in equal frustration. "What I mean is what I'm saying: I don't know how Amdusias came back, therefore I cannot help you asshats, even if I wanted to, which I won't."

Selene banged her fists on the table and pointed aggressively at the prisoner with the index finger. "That's it, I'm done with this crap, you better talk now or I'll break your crotch so hard your children will feel it."

Andromallius was unamused. "I'm operated."

Before he even got a chance to say anything else, Selene jumped from her chair at the man. Cynbel quickly reacted and pulled her back, but she was still able to get a hold of the man's neck and slam his face on the table.

The spellcaster, now with a bloody nose, kept quiet, and just stared. Cynbel on the other hand, wasn't happy. "Are you insane!?" He shouted.

"You're lucky he held me back." Selene told, or rather, yelled, at the injured wizard. Cynbel motioned with her hand for her to go away.

"It's a mistake to give those fiends anything. Follow your heart for once, instead of Pixie and Lucretia's orders." a resolute Andromallius referred to the general.

"I am. Those spirits trapped in those crystals, likely tormented. Don't you think they deserve rest?" Cynbel's tone had changed to a more solemn one. "All the fairy soldiers who fell so that we may live today... Don't you want them to get the peace and tranquility they deserve?" He handed the wizard a napkin for the bleeding. "You've had some experience, even if minimal, with releasing Amdusias' from his dreamstone armor. Just stop resisting and help us out with the soul extraction process, or even watch and let us know if something isn't right. I might not be able to hold her back next time." His tone had changed to what seemed like genuine worry for Andromallius.

Right after the speech, Cynbel turned around to give a wink at Selene without Andromallius noticing. He might have made a breakthrough.
