Hello fellow user back from 2008 :p

Yes do use the discord channel to reach players. It has mostly replaced Main chat nowadays.

As for what is new in heRO, there's a lot of catching up to do which will be easier to explain in real time on discord. The heRO wiki is also a good place to see all the changes, new quests and most gears (we're missing information there especially headgear).
